My name is Martin Harvier, and I serve as the elected President of the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC), located in the metropolitan Phoenix area in Arizona.
This map gives an overview of all the rafting sections of the Salt River in Arizona. All Salt River rafting trips originate at our satellite office at the bottom of the Salt River Canyon found on the Upper Canyon Map.
Multi-Day Salt River trips continue through the Middle. All of our regularly scheduled guided flat water rafting trips take place near Phoenix on the Lower Salt River or Saguaro Lake in the Tonto National Forest. The rivers and lakes in the Southwest provide some of the best wildlife and bird watching opportunities around.
The river is a very scenic Class I (the easiest rating on the international.
